Artists and writers create to evoke emotion, stimulate thought, and provoke response. That is also Cite’s raison d’être. The logo represents Cite’s physical space, as well as a quotation mark – an indication of content worth repeating. I played with 2-D and 3-D forms to give Cite a dynamic, always current quality. I used provocative quotes on Cite’s touchpoints to entice people to come to the store and engage with art, culture, books, and people.
